I just demoed in a shop. The sales guy just took it out of the box and plugged it in to a fender DR amp set clean. With all Tonex controls at noon. And then instant ear piercing squealing throughout on the bridge pickup of a Tele.
My ears are still sore tbh. No kidding.
I can’t imagine the shop will be selling many based on in person demoes / testing myself. Just saying.
2 cables - in and out into amp front end same as a regular pedal, I don’t know what else to report.
I turned down vol from 12 to 9 o clock and turned up amp instead ( to test rehearsal volume) same result re the squealing feedback, I couldn’t use this for a band rehearsal, I’d be kicked out of the studio !
It’s the default setting when switched on .. first patch/ profile ( Black Angus maybe?) . The shop guy didn’t know anything about the pedal unfortunately as it’s so new etc I’d imagine.
