Unfortunately this still hasn't been implemented so far, and I agree it's a feature that would simplify the workflow a lot since it would keep the note names in sync with the pad names in the plugin rather than forcing you to edit the name in two places.PerfectThanks for implementing this so quickly, the panel mode now does the expected thing!
One last thing I really miss from TAL-DRUM is that it does not report pad names as midi notes to the host. It would be great to have that feature implemented at some point, since this would facilitate sequencing in the DAW by a lot (currently the best I can do is to manually rename the notes in my DAW to "Pad 1" to "Pad 16", but then I still have to guess what sounds are on each of them while sequencing).
We discussed the passing of pad names to the host quite a while ago and I don't recall what the conclusion was, I'll check and update.
Very few drum plugins actually do this, which is a bit odd. Even Battery doesn't do this, though FXPansion's drum plugins do. Also the stock drum plugins in Studio One (Impact), FL (FPC) and Cubase (Groove Agent SE) do this.
