Your system is in a state that caused this. If you could give more details about your past state I would be able to help you better.So I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version completely (3.0.4) and cubase has now blacklisted both vst 2 and vst 3. Tried to reactivate but no joy as cubase gives a serious error warning. I can't be doing with all this just to get a synth working. Synthmaster 1 and 2 work fine.
To reset it completely, please do the following:
1. Delete C:/Users/Public/Public Documents/SynthMaster3
2. Delete all files under My Documents/Synthmaster3 except SynthMaster3LicenseKey.txt
3. Run your DAW, reset blacklist if necesary
Cubase (or any other DAW) does NOT have any such showstopper known issues so far. Just to be on the safe side, I followed steps 1 and 2 above and then ran Cubase 13:
