Bitwig • Re: Bitwig Studio 5.3 "Nice Drums!" released (BETA)

Re-created Combined Audio Device (this is hard work for me lol) and re-ran testing, similar crackling noise appears after a period of time... Looking in log files, the error is now different:

2024-12-05 12:44:08.707 base-platform info] Clocks drifted apart and have been resynced
[2024-12-05 12:46:42.841 base-localization warning] The following localization keys are missing:
"plug_and_play_audio_device_usage_settings.is_clock_master.name(click_desc)" in float_preferences
"plug_and_play_audio_device_usage_settings.is_clock_master.name" in float_preferences

[2024-12-05 12:46:42.846 base-localization warning] The following localization keys are missing:
"plug_and_play_audio_device_usage_settings.is_clock_master.name(click_desc)" in float_preferences
"plug_and_play_audio_device_usage_settings.is_clock_master.name" in float_preferences

[2024-12-05 12:46:42.846 base-localization warning] The following localization keys are missing:
"plug_and_play_audio_device_usage_settings.is_clock_master.name(click_desc)" in float_preferences
"plug_and_play_audio_device_usage_settings.is_clock_master.name" in float_preferences

So, it seems they have changed the engine for drift support but still not quite fit for purpose!

This is what BETA testing is all about folks.
