I jumped in on the initial offering, but cancelled after the 12 months. I did see $240 in credits, which was enough to purchase Current and a plugin I didn't have. I had to pay the difference $8 (199+49-240). All my user presets are still available, all factory presets are available, but premium packs are behind a paywall (i can try the sound).For anyone that initially supported Minimal Audio after their re-launch of Current via RTO, you’re now able to purchase it outright via their All Access credits. Has anyone done this yet? If so, what happened when you did? I’m curious as to what happens to the patches that have been created with All Access packs, for example, once the synth is purchased and All Access has been dropped.
Another interesting observation of their RTO is that if one subscribed as soon as Current relaunched (November 2023), your total credits would be $240 right now, but because of the way they do their RTO, it doesn’t show up that way. It’s like a month or so delayed, which is weird. I’ve inquired with MA’s support and never got a really good response for why this is.
I’m definitely not throwing shade as I like Current as a synth, but the business side of things is, as mentioned in other threads, confusing to say the least.
