Yes, I always find Beethoven miraculous. Sonata 21 (the Waldstein) is worth checking out (especially movement 2, and the transition to movement 3), as well as his last 3 sonatas. For the combination of mathematical clarity and emotion also check out sonatas by Scarlatti.
