Some emulate analog but go way beyond almost any analog except a very large, modern, modular rig. Of course, many modern modular rigs have digital modules.Extremely subjective, yep. =P And many of these emulations are trash! They are lures, designed to get you to spend $5-20 (or its a free gift, lite edition) so they can get your email and make you create an account, spam you with offers.Totally subjective, but, i couldn't agree more. In addition to spam you with offers maybe they can sell some data? maybe not as they don't collect from enough customers. imo the state of the virtual synth market has gotten really crap since the late 2000s early oughts, where most companies were owned by themselves and did what they did for the thrill of it, not just to bank. way more innovation at that time.
