I've been replaying the guitars I haven't in a while and... It's time for some to go.
Namely:
D'angelico EXL-1 Premier
It's pretty, it sounds okay but I just can't finesse notes on it like I can other guitars. The action is too high and because the way the floating bridge is set up it can't be lowered.
Fender Modern Player Telecaster (CIC)
It's just too damn heavy and the tone from a pine body really doesn't work for me
{B]Yamaha Variax Standard[/b]
The Variax technology died years ago and while it can still play like a guitar it's got to be the worst sounding super thin tone strat shape I've ever played.
{b] Jackson JS34Q Dinky[/b]
It sounds fair and takes forever to setup after each string change. I have no self control with the whammy bar and break strings within a day of setting up a new set.
