Getting stuff out of ipad and into full setup is cumbersome and not really worth it for me.

I remember me playing around with Gadget on the Nintendo Switch - and I could transfer the idea to the computer quite easily. They had some system with scanning a generated QR code. I can't remember all the details but it was surprisingly easy. No idea on how it is now though.
