Just from listening to the audio demos I can say the Roland by far. It actually sounds like a Jazz Chorus. The Nembrini does not. Nembrini has an annoying glassy quality to it which is not at all present in a real JC-120 (I own one.)Very interesting! I am very interested in whose model gets closest to the real thing. Roland ACB vs Nembrini.
A real JC-120 has a full, round tone focused in the low-mids that you feel in your chest, and a super hi-fi top end that makes any guitar sound like it has new strings. While this sound is difficult if not impossible to fully capture in a recording, you get a sense of it when you know what to look for. You hear it in the Roland model, but the Nembrini model is totally devoid of it, almost like he doesn't really 'get' what a JC-120 is really all about.
