Umm.. BassLane Pro can indeed do exactly this kind of processing. In my opinion, it does it more transparently than anything else on the market.I have been looking for a Waves Maxx Bass Replacement for quite awhile and this is what i was hoping BassLane Pro was.
.. and having just tested Bass Focus, that still remains my opinion.
The only issue I have with BassLane Pro is the mid/side part of the harmonics generation. That one can sound quite wonky at times as a shift to the sides, even in stereo mode, doesn't quite correlate with the original signal. This sort of makes sense in the overall idea of the process where it's supposed to be used to mono bass information but I wish it had a normal simple stereo to stereo mode where everything correlates 1 to 1. In fact, I'll send a feature request for just this right now.

Other than that, BassLane still produces the most natural harmonics and gives the user immense control over how they spread out into higher registers. The 'Damped' + Compression controls are amazing and completely unique.
