It's the DAC - German Alternative Chart. As I explained, it's the chart all the artists who have inspired us over the years have charted on. It's voted on by a group of industry professionals, like the Oscars, so it's more than a simple popularity contest. We also bounce around on the German "Native" album and singles charts, which are broad-based DJ charts and of less interest to us, although possibly a bigger achievement.Hmm. I can't find your answer. If you think it's triggering, then you can message me. I'm not looking to be contentious here, so a direct answer is enough. Like I said, I'm just curious what the chart is.
Yeah, we relinquished our URL a few years ago and that popped up almost straight away on it. It's a weird site.It looks like they have been taken over by an AI that thinks they are death metal. https://www.novakill.com
What are you guys seeing? When I go there, I see what looks like a teenager's blog site offering really poor advice to wannabe musicians. It's got photos of Elvis and P. Diddy, explains who Bono is and basically looks as wholesome as Mom's Apple Pie. There's an article titled "10 Best Novakill Albums to Follow" which is all about one of our songs and one of our VSTi. There's also a review, of sorts, of our first album and both those articles feature photos of teenage girls sitting or lying on a bed, poring over vinyl records. It's all very strange but it's been up for 3 or 4 years now. AI wasn't even a thing the first time I saw it, but it seems obvious now that that is what it is. Maybe it was someone trying to get their AI to do better? That is truly odd. I'm going to assume no-one's daft enough to make a promo site for their band that is basically an automated splog. So I can only assume the AI has looked at the domain name, found some content about the band with the same name and created posts around it interspersed with other vaguely music-related material because that scores better on the old SEO.
