It pretty much made everything sound smaller and choked.Sounds dreadful to me...
An 1176 all buttons in or a Distressor on Nuke mode should sound bombastic and wild.
Sounds like they had the release too long so you miss the pumpiness and and unpredictabilityof those kinds of modes.
It sounds more crapped out than dirty.
